Warranty Statement & Terms of Sale

Tokyo IT Services. (Hereinafter called Seller) warrants to the Buyer that, the hardware Product sold hereunder is free from defects in workmanship or material under normal use and service. The effective period of this product is determined by the selling price according to the following table for parts and labor from the date of invoice (purchase date). This warranty is contingent upon proper and normal use by the Buyer.

Warranty Exclusions

Seller is not responsible for, nor shall it warrant or service, any software of software installation on any system, including MS DOS, Windows, or Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP/VISTA, LINUX etc. (even when purchased and installed by the Seller.)
Should it be determined that any machine brought in for "warranty" repair is actually malfunctioning due to software issues, or due to improper installation of new hardware by customer, the customer will be billed at the hourly rate for in house service, starting at a minimum ¥5,000 basic charge plus any additional time that is necessary to correct the problem at ¥8,000 per hr. should the client choose to have Tokyo IT technicians finish the work.
Seller will not be held responsible for, nor will it reimburse ANY shipping charges associated with the delivery of ANY order under ANY circumstances. Shipping charges are considered part of the expendable costs of doing business in the mail order business and Seller does not subsidize nor reimburse it's customers under ANY circumstances for this expense.
Warranted repairs and or replacements during the warranty period will be charged appropriate shipping and handling charges in accordance with the specific return instructions as prescribed for such merchandise.
This warranty does not apply to parts replacement or adjustment due to accident, lack of knowledge, unusual physical, electrical or electromagnetic stress, neglect, misuse, failure of electrical power, air conditioning or humidity control, or transportation and does not cover software services, materials, repair or parts replacement necessitated by any loss, including software dysfunction, accidental loss of program(s), data, or other file types, or damage resulting from any cause other than normal usage such as but not limited to loss or damage due to misuse, abuse, or software modification and/or unauthorized repair by others, installation or removal, or by use with other equipment, fire, water, windstorm, hail, lightning, earthquake, theft, negligence, riot, operator error, computer virus infection, or any other peril.
IN NO EVENT SHALL Seller BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR NEGLIGENCE.
(Work necessitated by any of the foregoing will be subject to charge at Seller's prevailing demand service rates.)
Seller's only responsibilities under this warranty are its option to repair or replace, without charge, any defective component part of the Product. Seller's obligation, under this warranty will become effective only when the Product has been received by Seller in properly packed box.
Due to technical nature of rechargeable batteries. No warranty is offered for batteries installed in Refurbished / Used notebook computers. Dead dots on Notebook computers display are not considers as faults even on brand new coputers.
In event of technical malfunction in equipment purchased from the Seller the owner is required to bring the equipment to Seller's office at owners cost. Seller dose not provide onsite repair services Beside special case. In such case Seller will charge ¥15,000 for basic onsite charges for the first hour plus ¥10,000/hr for every subsequent hour (Valid only within Tokyo 23Wards). This Warranty is valid only in Japan.

Customer Responsibilities

It is customer's responsibility to acquire necessary knowledge / skills to use this equipment Seller dose not provide training.
It is customer's responsibility to acquire necessary material (books) to learn equipment operation Seller dose not sell Computer books or Manuals.
It is customer's responsibility to make and keep necessary backup of the software before sending a machine for repair, in no event shall Seller be liable for data loss occurred due to repair related operation.
We do not provide operating systems with used equipment unless we received the equipment with a licensed operating system.

Missing or Damaged Equipment

Shortages, missing, or items found to be damaged upon arrival must be reported to Seller within 2 days of receipt. A replacement of the same or equal item will be shipped to you within 1-5 business days after the defected item is received back by Tokyo IT. Tokyo IT Service's is responsible for the cost of shipping the replaced item back to customers

Refund & Restocking

Customers buying through mail order are eligible for a refund in case they are not satisfied with the product within 8 days of delivery. Any merchandise not received within this 8-day period will be considered a purchased item.
A 15% cancellation, restocking & processing fee will be charged on shipped, partially shipped or delivered orders and or merchandise returned for a refund. Customer should bear the shipping cost back to the Seller and any incurring bank remittance charges in process of returning the payment from Seller to customer. Customer will have to wait for 7-15 days for the processing of refund procedure. In case of COD order; refund processing period could be up to 30 days. But if the buyer have used Credit Card to pay the refund process can take up to 60 days.
Products returned damaged or not in Seller's original packing will be returned at Buyer's expanse.
